Frome is the fourth largest town in Somerset and is becoming extremely popular with tourists and people wishing to settle within this historic town. Renowned for its cobbled streets and attractive shopping centre there are more Grade II listed buildings in Frome than in any other town in Somerset.

In recent years the town has developed a reputation as a focus for arts
and crafts. There are a number of galleries and contemporary crafts centres
within the town. The local college is also a specialist arts and media school.
There are many arts and crafts work shops with specialities ranging from
designer jewellery to musical instrument makers.
There are a wealth of historic and picturesque villages within a few miles
of the town including Nunney and Farleigh Hungerford both which have ruined
castles, Mells, Norton St Philip, Beckington and Rode. There is an extensive
network of footpaths and bridle ways around all these villages for those
who enjoy an active life style.
